Current Work

Michelle owns Southern View Media, a digital marketing and branding agency that is committed to helping local businesses understand the complex world of building an online presence.

She also owns Pelican Promos, a local promotional product company that offers unique and custom branded products for local businesses.

In 2022, Michelle started Daphne CoWork, to offer start-ups and small businesses affordable office space solutions on the Eastern Shore.

She also owns Murrill Properties, runs the Small Business DRS and produces the Eastern Shore Business Expo with the Southern View Crew’s help!

Community Involvement and Giving Back

Michelle Murrill is passionate about her local community and giving back.

She has volunteered as the Marketing Director for Bras for a Cause, a local breast cancer fundraiser, for the past four years. She is also an ambassador for the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce; she has created and produced the Eastern Shore Business Expo every year at the Fairhope Civic Center. To top it all off, she is an active board member for the American Autism Society. However, this is not the end of Michelle’s ventures.

For example, in 2021, Michelle created the Small Business Disaster Recovery Specialists after Hurricane Ida affected many of her Gulf Coast clients and friends. This organization provides access to tools, assets, free marketing, free commercial-sized tarps, yard signs, chainsaws and business cards immediately after any major storm. It also delivers boots on the ground help to businesses in the days after a major storm.

All of Michelle’s companies give back by not only donating but volunteering in the community and providing resources. Michelle regularly sponsors and hosts free seminars on marketing and mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs and graphic designers. In 2022, Southern View Media also created the Edna Brill Scholarship. This scholarship awards a $1,000 scholarship to a local high school senior.

Michelle Murrill has previously served as president of the board for the Woman’s Business Alliance, and also previously co-produced the Gulf Coast Mardi Gras Expo. She was an active member of the Baldwin Business Coucil and served as the Communications Director for her local BNI chapter for three years.
